Canopy has led a wide range of project types at varying scales. We have engaged on projects in different capacities, from assisting clients with the professionalization of project collateral, business plans and financing documents to serving as principals in the development process, taking it from conceptualization through design and planning to entitlement and implementation. We establish innovative and appropriate development solutions for the properties we work on while implementing effective conservation strategies and bring in best-in-class partners when and where they add the most value.

Our projects have taken us from our backyard of New England west to Hawaii and the Pacific, and throughout Central America, South America and the Caribbean. Our philosophy is rooted in the idea that the site determines the optimal development model, and that approach has led us to projects of varying scales from boutique resorts to complete mixed-use villages. The common thread is the prominent role of nature, conservation and community, which are the central themes that drive the experience of each of these unique and inherently valuable places.
